Tree House Club is a 6-8 week on site program for students in the Turlock Unified School District. It offers support to students who have or are experiencing trauma in their lives. This trauma may stem from divorce, foster care, immigration, incarceration, or any number of causes.
Our Volunteers
All Tree House leaders are volunteers that have been vetted and approved by the Turlock School District as Character Coaches. The Tree House program is under the umbrella of the Turlock Chaplaincy Character Coach Program.

What a typical Tree House Club looks like...
In a one-hour club meeting, children are greeted and met by caring adult volunteers in a private setting. Students check in with how they are emotionally doing, and then are presented with a topic to discuss, including experiencing trauma, bullying, worry, fear, anger, and forgiveness. Art activities are often a part of the club.
